Ah, okay. Sounds good to me then. I'll hold on a modern monitor for right now. Hopefully someone will love me enough on my birthday to buy me a nicer one.

Promo code ends before I'm actually going to order. Heh. Currently I'm 10 dollars over budget but I'm going to just ask to borrow that from my folks. Hopefully they will let me <_<

In about 2-3 weeks time, the E5200 will be $20 cheaper due to Intel's price cuts + new CPUs in the E5/E7 series of chips, so might want to wait for that?

Keep in mind the E5200 is going to drop $20, might want to ask for a short time loan from somebody and upgrade that 4830 to a 4850 instead, you can pay them back once you get the rebate on the PSU or something.

I will probably receive the check next friday so it will take two weeks anyhow since UPS doesn't ground ship on weekends. And I think I'll ask my folks to lend me some money. Hopefully they will >_<

Ouch...looks like the OCZ 500w is deactivated or out of stock, does that throw a wrench in the plans?

Although, you were counting it based on the initial cost right? Not the after rebate cost? Plenty of quality 500ws for $60, just none had that $35 rebate with it. So it's not so bad, I'll link one real quick.

PCP&C 500w $70 up front: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817703015 (cheaper than the 410w after rebate)
PCP&C 410w $60 up front: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817703014 (this would be plenty to power the system in case you were wondering)
Antec Earthwatt 430w $40: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817371006

I would get a 4850 instead of the 4830 especially if you are planning on gaming.

If you have a Microcenter near you, the XION Solaris case + 450W PSU (unsure if it has PCI-E and SATA plugs, I think that it does NOT), is $60 regular price, but sometimes it goes on sale for $50.
