70" Visio for $1500, is it good?

Costco has the 70" Visio for $1500. Looks nice, not as nice as higher end sets though.

Yes, Visio TV's as of late are very good and get good reviews. Ive been happy with mine Ive had for 3 years.

If it looks good and fits your needs, I wouldn't hesitate. It'll be plenty good enough for all but the most snobbish of home theater enthusiasts.

Look for some of the higher-end Panasonic plasma TVs (VT50 series) to go on sale as the new models are introduced. I think there have been a few posts in Hot Deals with the 55" or 60" VT50 going for under $1700.

im not sure if i would do the 70" yet.. still a new size for tv's and you probably wont be getting as good of a value as you will in a year or two.

the led's are going to get brighter and draw less power, which will have a big impact on how the tv performs.
