70-680 count toward MCSE?

Anyone know if 70-680 is planning on being counted toward the MCSA/MCSE path? I'm coming up on the client portion of the path and I'd prefer not to take XP and really don't want to take Vista. Anyone know if the Windows 7 exam will count?

Microsoft has a history of "silently" adding new exams as alternatives to older equivalent ones. They just sorta' appear.

But I'd play it safe and call their Training department and ask.

Microsoft accepts the Vista 70-620 exam as fulfilling the "Client Operating System" requirement for MCSE. That's an MCITP exam, as is the W7 exam.
