I've heard that it comes in 30 question and 45 question format, and you don't know what you are getting until you finish the test.

I haven't found information on what format the questions will be in.(all single choice multiple option, or are there some questions which you must pick multiple answers?)

Can anyone clarify this?

There are single choice and multiple choice PLUS you may see some "scenario" based questions where you need to fill in the blanks or drag-and-drop, IIRC.

I had four of the scenario-based questions on my 270 exam and they were all W2K3-based questions about network configuration (DNS, DHCP, etc.)

I seem to remembere a lot of Network configuration and Permission questions. You'll get scenarios and multiple choice questions.

Is this the windows professional exam, or the server exam?

I took all the exams when it was a windows 2000 tract, every exam was easy. The only problem is that they don't really ask any real world questions, they ask a load of questions on specific features of windows that most people don't take the time to get that in depth with (because it's totally unneccessary).
