i agree with the first. juvie won't help the kid since he really did nothing wrong.

but he defientaly needs to understand what he did was wrong.

Humm, Kahr 9mm and a Glock .40. Sounds like a PM9 and a Glock 23...wonder who uses those...

I use both of those actually. Kahr K9 and glock 23C

reckless endangerment for the parents... 7 year old should not have any access to loaded weapons.

dueling statements there? wtf?

he did do something wrong, he brought GUNS to school. thats wrong no matter how old you are. he also is underage and in possession of firearms, another no-no. he needs to be punished as well as the parents, since they are totally responsible for his actions as well. whether they didnt teach him the basics or not, they still have to answer for his actions. i have 3 kids, and i fully support that. if i didnt teach my kids well enough to know that is wrong, then i should have to face the same or worse consequences my kids face. fortunately, i have been teaching my kids both respect of firearms as well as gun safety since they could use a rubber band gun.

I'm not sure that juvie would do the kid much good. While I'm sure he had some idea that bringing guns to school was bad I don't think he realized the severity of it. The kid needs to be talked to by someone other than the parents because the parents clearly don't know a thing about gun control. There does, however, need to be some repercussions on the parents' part.
