7 Philly cops whose Facebook posts were flagged in database scandal have resigned

It's a start. Hopefully, there's more to come.

The scandal has attracted national attention. In announcing the intended firings — the largest number of officers dismissed at one time in recent city history — Ross stood alongside Mayor Jim Kenney and said an additional 56 officers would face disciplinary actions ranging from a reprimand to a 30-day unpaid suspension.

If you look at what these (former) officers posted, you can see that the only reason they lost their jobs was because of their own paranoia. It's kinda sad really. Govt officials charged with upholding our laws insisting that they were being persecuted (somehow) unless they were allowed to violate our laws by persecuting others based on bullshit reasons.

I'll bet that all of these ex cops will soon be cops elsewhere and right back to doing what they do best, just keeping it under cover better.

Yes, when an apple goes overripe, it releases a gas. That gas signals any other apples nearby to go bad too. That's why if you find a bad apple, you get rid of it asap so it doesn't spoil the whole barrel. It only takes a few bad apples to spoil the entire barrel.

That's why cops always gang up on and get rid of the bad cops right away because the good cops don't want to become bad.
