Thank you,these are costly 😀

Exactly why I posted this. Those things are like gold! It's really silly and I'll bet they come down in price eventually, but until then, at least this helps.

how much are these generally priced at before the coupon?

on sale for $30 this week at Walgreens and Rite Aid...not cheap, that's for sure. I got my mom a box of these and she stopped using it after 2 days b/c it made her teeth unbearably sensitive, FYI

Yes, it will bleach the stain from their teeth, as long as it is not from tetracycline. Works great.
who says? this first hand knowledge?
and tetracycline stain is intrinsic. it cannot be removed.

munkie, did her teeth get better (less sensitive) after stopping use of the strips? I'm wondering if the whitening products like these can cause demineralization of teeth. Demineralization is a bad thing 'cause it leaves your teeth unprotected against decay and cavities. That concern is why I haven't yet tried these products.

Do you have to repeat use these strips often to keep teeth white?

Not sure as to why her teeth got overly sensative but I do believe they mention this on the box or in the instructions as a possibility.
As to repeating, the treatment is supposed to last for quite a while. I don't have the box in front of me but from memory it seems like six months or maybe a year. They do an excellent job though. Just make sure you get the Premium ones though. They have some "regular" ones that are very difficult to use and you have to use them much, much longer.
As to someone else's question about, "these just cover the front few teeth or do they reach all the way to the back?" They go back a few teeth each way but not all the way back. For a normal smile, all teeth would probably be covered.

Yes, first hand. I have used both the paint on type (Night Effects) and the WhiteStrips. I am in the middle of a box of WhiteStrips now (my first was 2 years ago).
I have not used the Premium WhiteStrips. As we have both mentioned, none of them whiten drug stained teeth for some reason.
Crest is frustratingly vague on the details of each product, offering no specs and just enough vague info for an 8th grader. Apparently the peroxide is stronger and works quicker in the Whitestrips than the Night Effects. I just finished a box of Night Effects and it whitened, but not with the results I experienced before with the WS. The whitening is supposed to last about a year.
