<< Good god, how can you not chose Ankor Wat?

It is a temple structure that dwarves the Pyramids in its enormity. I guess if you haven't been to Cambodia you may not know it, but it is awe inspiring.

The choices in general are too limited
>>

I agree. I have see it and it is amazing.

In ancient times (and even today) the Great Pyramid was larger than life. This pyramid is the greatest feat of architectural and engineering expertise ever built prior to the twentieth century. It was admired for its size and presence. Now, it is admired for its amazing scientific feats. Here are some scientific facts I pulled from here:

1. The Pyramid or Polar Inch: The polar diameter of the earth, divided into 500,000 segments is equal to one Pyramid inch. This unit was used in the construction of the Great Pyramid.

2. The Distance of the Earth to the Moon: The structure is composed of approximately 2,430,000 individual stones. This figure divided by ten gives the distance in miles from the earth to the moon.

3. The Solar Year: This is found in many places throughout the pyramid, and is given as 365.242465 days. The measurement of a square circuit around the Great Pyramid, touching its base only at the four corners gives this figure times 100 or four sacred cubits (a sacred cubit is 25 pyramid inches).

4. The Weight of the Earth: This is given as 20¡C or 68¡F which is the constant temperature in the Kings Chamber.

5. The Pyramid Divides the Northern Hemisphere: It divides the world into Eastern Civilization and Western Civilization.

6. The Cardinal Points of the Compass: The Pyramids four sides face true north, true south, true east, true west.

Thank you for the interesting facts about the Pyramids. :)

Though Angkor Wat does not recieve the same amount of publicity as the Great Pyramids, it is a structure that made me realize just how rich Indian culture and heritage was. King Surayavarma II of the Khumer dynasty built this structure as a dedication to Lord Vishnu. After the end of the Khumer dynasty this temple was turned into a Buddhist monastry.

It is well preserved and beyond any mordern day wonder.

Why does everyone correlate wonders of the world with man made structures? Some of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring things in this world are naturally made
