Hello,
I looking to buy cheap tablet. I found M004
So the problem is I dont know very much about the tablets. I dont understand specifications and etc.
I know here most of the people are really good with these tablets so my question is Is it worth to buy this tablet?
I know the most tablets are much more expensive.
My budget is 100$

Thank you for the responses in advance!

I guess you are talking about this:

http://www.fastcardtech.com/goods-4...touch+Lcd+G-sensor+Android+15+camera+Tab.html

From looking at it there are four huge limitations:

1. It is super slow at 600mhz. Programs will crawl.
2. It has very little ram at 128mb. That is less then the Motorola Droid, the first decent Android phone. That means you can only run one app at a time slowly.
3. It has a resistive screen. That is the old kind of screens that really require a stylus to be useable.
4. I can't find conformation about full market access. It also doesn't have an active community to fix things like that.

I would personally recommend staying away. Those are huge limitions. Basically the only thing this tablet would be good for is reading PDFs and such.

The basic problem is no decent $100 tablets exist. My Nook Color cost $250 and I think its about the bare minimum that I would tolerate in a tablet hardware-wise. What you want- a $100 tablet that is decent- is at least two or three years away.

But if you keep your expectations INCREDIBLY low, and only expect to do very basic things like reading books then this should be fine. If you want gaming, productivity software, a decent web browsing experience, etc. then look elsewhere.

The general consensus about those tablets are that they're absolute garbage. You're better off saving up for a better tablet or a Nook Color. You'll never be able to run things properly with that thing, and you'll have just thrown $100 down the drain.

OP, what do you intend to use the tablet for? There's decent tablets for ~100 bucks, provided 'decent' means ereader only.

I'd also read up on basic specs, CPU/RAM, etc. The 600Mhz Rockchip in the M004 is a dog slow POS, and only supports Android 1.5. The 600-800Mhz OMAP3 chip in the Witstech A81* tablets is on a completely different level, the A81E devices are very responsive and snappy. Partly because they have no bloatware installed and no phone backend stuff running.

Up your budget and get a Nook Color ($250) if you're into modding/rooting/flashing or want to be, OR up your budget a little more and get a Huawei S7 ($300) if you don't mind a highly accurate resistive screen.

Folks, judging by the syntax, the OP's native language is not English (my bet would be Slavic). And there's a strong chance he/she doesn't live in the U.S., either. Therefore, recommending a Nook won't be practical, if the OP doesn't have access to the B&N marketplace.

Belkan, the short and brutal answer is this: There are no options for you at this price.

No REAL options, anyway. Unless you want to buy something so crappy that you'll end up throwing away in a couple of months (assuming that it doesn't break by itself, by then).

Save some extra money and let us know what are your acquisition channels, and what market is available to you. We'll try to help you. Good luck!

*edit*
And tell us what you want to have in a tablet. That makes a big difference, too :)

If I were you, I'd be happier with the $89-100 than any tablet it could possibly buy.

I even tried the pandigital novel and while it wasn't horrible, there's a lot to be said for a capacitive(sp?) touch screen over resistive and a fast cpu. The video on the novel was also not that great so any games were slow and cludgy. I sold it for $100.00 and took the $30.00 loss as a lesson learned.

OP still hasn't said what the intended use is. If its as an e-reader, than there's quite a few options.

That's sold/marketed as an E-reader. What games were you playing on it? :p

Eighty-nine dollars? I can't see it. The tablet market would have to mature until that happens, and this may not occur for years yet. Companies as it stands now don't have to lower their prices to attract new custom.
