For free shipping code, go to your favorite coupon site and get that (can't post it here, sorry).

There may be a handling fee, I'm not sure. However, that same coupon site has another code for free shipping + $5 off if your order is over $29.99. There was a thread here on Anandtech hot deals on a dremel for 9.99, so maybe you could combine that and a couple of other things to take advantage of this coupon. Cheers.

Yeah, handling fee about 6 bucks (I did order multiples, tho, not sure if handling fee is the same for 1 item). Also, the free shipping code worked fine.

thanks

I picked up the greyish colored "clamp" model when it was ~$10 before Christmas. I went back to pick up a few more things I needed--the "dremel" for ~$10 and saw that they had the Model 35017 model for ~$25. I returned the one "my wife bought me for Christmas" and picked up the 35017. I think it's a great meter for the money. It isn't a Fluke, but what do you want for 25 bones? My $0.02.

It shows 9.99. ?

Do as yellowfiero explained and it will come up as $2.99. Also, I suppose you could go pick this up at one of their stores - if you have one nearby.

LMAO

Subtotal 2.99
Tax Rate 0.0775
Tax Amount 0.23
(CA) - (2.95) *Shipping 2.95
Handling 5.95
Total $12.12

I guess its better than $9.99 + all those taxes, shippings, and handling fees.
Look for a place near you and go pick one up yourself.

Try hanging a suspended ceiling with a standard level and then with a laser level and you'll find out.
Go the the site and look at 'em.

What I really meant was....how do you USE the laser level with the laser as opposed to a non-laser level...

i just bought this at a harbor B&M..i got it for $3.99...they were having a pretty good sale...if you have a store near you, its worth the trip

Their shipping sucks!!! I bought the multimeter and a laser level on 1/19 and I still don't have it. I email their customer service as when I try to look up the order online it doesn't show up, 2 days after I email they repley that it take 14 business days for shipping!! I guess when you use the free shipping you get the "pony express" service!!

Laser level is a standard level with a calibrated laser pointer built into the end. The laser pointer can then shoot a strraight and true line across a space of any size. Use your imagination. Suppose you have a room, round, square, rectangular, elliptical, whatever. Mount the laser level on a tripod near (don't have to be exact) the center of the room. Level it at the height you need and you can easily mark mounting points for the ceiling rails all around the room. Whatever your mind can conceive that involves leveling...
