7-Eleven's turning into Kwik E Marts for the Simpsons Movie Promotion

Well, it'll probably work: I never go to 7-11, but I'm tempted to stop at the one they've redone here in Seattle and buy some Krusty-Os.

The U.S. locations where a 7-Eleven store was transformed into a Kwik-E-Mart are New York City; Chicago; Dallas; Denver; Burbank, Calif.; Los Angeles; Henderson, Nev.; Orlando, Fla.; Mountain View, Calif.; Seattle; and Bladensburg, Md.

Darn it...none in the Baltimore / DC area

That?s the case for Kumar Assandas, a 28-year-old franchisee whose parents immigrated from India. His store in suburban Las Vegas is one of the temporary Kwik-E-Marts.

?I know it?s a stereotype, but it doesn?t bother me. Everybody knows it?s a joke,? Assandas said. ?I?m a big Simpsons fan myself, and maybe subconsciously it even inspired me to become a 7-Eleven owner.?

Springfield Tennessee was the chosen city. I will have to snap pics of the setup they have right as you get to the courthouse.

Booo!

I went there last night to get some candy before seeing a movie (because candy at the theater is expensive) and I noticed all the stuff there. It was actually kinda funny, they had Buzz soda, and Krusty-O's cereal, and some other stuff. Krusty-O's looked gross though.
