It's lousy that 8% is the best I can find right now on a card and it has no real rewards. My card that got good rewards went from 13% to 25% because Citibank decided to abuse their good customers.

Of course they offered to give me a lower interest rate (10% for one year I think) if I transferred $3k onto the card and paid a 3% transfer fee.

I have $9.00 in credit card debt. Filled up the motorcycle yesterday. 5% is too much to pay.

Got an Amex blue cash with 8% APR.
It was 4.99% before they jacked the rates up during the credit crisis.
Before that, it was 12% when I signed up, but called in for an interest reduction when the economy was happy.

Amex rawkz. That and amex doesn't have overlimit fees.
I have also have a chase rewards card that's sitting at 27.5%.FUUUUUUUUUUUU chase
But starting feb, with the new CARD legislation passed, overlimit fees will be abolished, and so will jacking your interest up to 27.5%

I was annoyed when USAA bumped my Visa interest rate from ~4% to 6%, which is what it is now (not that it really matters since I never have a balance). Are they really the only ones at this rate?

Pay it off during the grace period and pay 0%. Why give some fat bankers free money just so you can have instant gratification in buying a bunch of crap?
