My hatred for UPS is directly tied to the answer of this question.

They expected 2-5pm. Fuck.

Fuck UPS. I haven't had a single Next Day package from Amazon Prime arrive on the day it was supposed to.

I've written 3 letters to their corporate offices, and made numerous BBB complaints. I don't understand how the hell their drivers have jobs.

no, it'll go back to depot and because they never made a first attempt you can't go pick it up yet, either.

I had a freight order for work ship out of Phoenix last Wednesday. Typically freight orders take only 2 days to arrive so I should have had it Friday without issues (at least Fed Ex would have). I get a call this morning to schedule the delivery for TOMORROW (6 days from ship date) or otherwise pick it up from their location. Luckily their freight depot was very close by since I really needed the shipment.

I once had a package go on the truck over 7 times and never had an attempted delivery, each time they claim they ran out of time to attempt delivery. This was a UPS ground shipping, it took 2 weeks for me to get it, when their map claims 2 days.

Sounds like we have a winner!!! Tell him what he's won.

I had a package come after 8 PM before.

*straight face*...................................:sneaky:

PM me your skype and you will see a package tonight.

Damn you.

At one of the places I lived before they'd deliver really late in the evening because one time a piece I didn't answer the door in the morning or afternoon, so apparently their system designated the best delivery time would be 9 at night.

This is why I am picking it up tomorrow

Man, these UPS fail threads are hilarious. UPS (Fed Ex too) has never given me one problem over the last five years. I've got six deliveries scheduled tomorrow. All are at the hub closest to me. Can't wait...

I hate UPS because the motherfuckers won't go up my driveway (gravel) and sometimes they treat the package like shit. FedEx, on the other hand is fucking awesome.

Same here, I have 4 packages arriving tomorrow via UPS. It's like Christmas 😀

What I do hate is USPS Parcel Post. I have no idea what they do to boxes, they are always wrecked by the time they show up, which seems to take at least a week, maybe more.

I guess I'm one of the few that has never had a problem with UPS. Even if I'm not home the UPS guy will hide my packages behind my trashcans unless of course it requires a signature. I almost always get my stuff on time.

Where I use to live USPS and UPS were tied, FedEX was the worst. FedEX packages were always damaged, with a complete disregard for any message asking the box to be handled with care. In fact for FedEX it seemed the more you ask them to handle it with care, the more they would kick and throw the box.

I've had way more issues with FedEx packages than UPS (only had 1 late package in hundreds of deliveries) though this was mainly with FedEx ground and not express. I literally have never had a FedEx ground package delivered on time. They are either early (happened once) or days late (every other time). With UPS they are ALWAYS on time; never early, never late... on time.

However it should be noted that I work for UPS. I assume at some point in the past the FedEx drivers found out about this and have tried to make my life miserable ever since... punks.

While I had 1 bad experience with UPS, I should also mention the good thing that happen. One time I ordered a bunch of items from a web store, 5 things each worth about $500. The shipper never asked for signature, but the UPS delivery person didn't want to just leave the items on the door when I wasn't home. So he attempted delivery first at around 4, and when I wasn't home he returned again at around 7 for a second attempt on the same day. I knew he made two attempts because my neighbor had told me the UPS guy try to make a delivery at 4 and no one was home. I was glad he didn't just leave them at the door, someone could of stole them. Each item was in a individual box, 5 boxes for 5 items.

FYI, UPS drivers are unionized.

Last I read FedEx drivers were not union.
