Um, is there nudity in the SI swimsuit edition?

If not, what's the BFD?

Was he spanking the monkey during class or something? Spanking monkies is wrong, they have feelings too.

He is clearly a deviant. How many 6th grade boys are interested in hot scantily clad women? Exactly. Deviant.

They shouldn't have sent him to an alternative school, but the little sh!t shouldn't have brought the magazine to school in the first place.

Exactly what I'd say. And 3 days' suspension?! WTF?! I agree that it's inappropriate just b/c it would be disruptive but why not just confiscate and give a detention?

A teacher confiscated the magazine and officials recommended time at an alternative school.

LOL :D Yes, one of those alternative schools where women are allowed to be seen in skimpy bathing suits.

Big f---ing deal.

When i was in grade school, i brought in a SI Swimsuit Edition. My teacher took it from me. I find out years down the road that my old teacher is a lesbian and ran off with her girlfriend.

Would your work allow you to sit back and read the SI during work time? Why do most workplaces ban certain "sites" and "images" from workers' computers? Why are people here always asking if pictures are "work safe"

Now think about that when it comes to a 6th grade class room. It's neither the time nor the place.

Call me insanse if you want, but the bottom line if he hadn't brought it to school, he wouldn't have been in this situation. He was probably just trying to be "cool" and show it off to his friends and got busted. Tough luck.

Let me guess, you were the tattle-tale teacher's bitch in school weren't you?

Not really. I would hazard that any school administrator would agree that the SI Swimsuit issue is inappropriate to be toting around in a 6th grade classroom. The punishment is a bit heavy-handed, but he definitely should not have brought it in.

i dont see the big deal. At worst the magazine should have been confiscated, and even THAT's stretching it. Hell, half the kids in my Jr. High and pictures of scantily clad women on the inside of their locker doors....
