I'm going to be in New York on that draft date and will not have any way to do the draft. So I guess I'm out this year.

KT

If moving the draft date or timing helps KT and doesn't hurt others I'm all for changing it.

Draft date was just something I had to put in to register the league. It wasn't a hard date so it can be changed. Like I said earlier the season starts earlier this year with the Australian games but if we chose to not count those the actual season starts like 2 weeks after that

I'm out of town from the 11th to the 16th, so am free to draft pretty much anytime before or after that. Am I right in saying there are only two games in Australia? If so, I would be ok with just skipping those and moving forward with a draft after that, of course I realize that is totally self-serving. 😀

Yeah, just 2 games there. Dodgers vs D-bags

I'm fine with leaving those games out.

Here are the options for the draft.......

We can push up the draft to the weekend of March 8-9. KT is out of town the following weekend and then I'll be out of town the next.

That would leave us with a draft date of March 29-30. The season begins on the 30th @ 8:05 PM EST so we can draft early that Sunday if needed.

If KT signs up then we'll have 10/12.

None. If all else fails I'll let the autodraft do its thing. Can't be much worse than me picking players.. 😛

Ok, I'll change it to a tentative date of Sunday, March 9 @ 1:00 pm ET.

If anyone has an issue with this day/time please say something. I am not going to know if you have an issue with this date or time unless you tell me.

you guys do that in Canada?

Of course we do!

By the way, I would prefer quality starts over wins (wins are so arbitrary), and I would prefer an auction keeper league. Not too fussed about on base vs average or whatever.

KT

Oh damn, 10AM. OK. I may be late by an hour or more unless I can do it through my phone. Have a wedding planning thing to go to from 9AM to 11AM. But like I said, I'm okay with the autodraft. Just going to have to go through my pre-draft values. First ever FF baseball league.

Someone asked to move the draft a little later on the 9th. Does 3:00 pm ET work for everyone?

With KT signed up we are at 10/12. Looking for 2 more!

Ok, I changed it to 3pm on the 9th. Lets scrap the keeper and auction but keep the OBP and quality starts for stat categories.

**NEED 2 MORE!!**
10/12

TangoJuliet PM'd me about this.

Sure, why not. It's been a few years since I've done fantasy baseball but I'll give it a go. I like the stat categories.

I'm open to a keeper league, though I've never tried an auction draft before.
