6ns is rated at 166. An easy way to figure it out, devide 1000/ns then multiply by 2 for DDR.
100/6=166x2=333 (rounded off)
5ns=200x2=400DDR
4ns=250x2=500DDR etc
These are the theoretical speeds, in actual use, quailty will regulate whether each individual piece of ram can reach or exceed it's rating.

edit: my old Creative GF2 GTS 64 MB had Elite 6ns RAM and would run at 380 all day.
my PNY GF 3 ti200 has Hynix(HyundaI) 4ns RAM and will do 480-500 in all my games except Ghost Recon, which gets "flashing" textures at anything over 465

6ns doesn't guarantee 166Mhz.
like pc100 memory, need 8ns to guarantee 100Mhz at cas2. 10ns is classified as PC66 only.
