I was happy to get 4GB of DDR3 for $85. For 6GB it's definitely a price mistake.
Agreed....but get it right on the sixth try Mushkin!
It went in and out of stock, prices moved up and down, and even still they can't get it right!
Seriously, keep the ddr3, and send me the sh!t their team is smoking....my Volcano ()🙂 awaits!

I did receive a confirmation email from them. I just emailed them and let them know that I am expecting to receive the product. If not I will contact the State AG's office. Even if they can't help me, I just want to raise awareness of how we get crapped on by certain online retailers. They had the product marked on the shelf at a specific price, I purchased the product, they took payment from me, I received a confirmation email, now I want my product.

Hope you don't mind, but I'm making that picture you posted my new avatar.
Changing the subject...

Well, I think the key issue here is that they 'charged' our debit/credit card before they shipped! Typically, no charge goes through until they ship...sounds to me like an implied contract regradless of what there site agreement says...
There are absolutely no laws requiring vendors to not charge when an order is placed. It's courtesy, not law. There's nothing to stop a vendor from canceling an already paid for order and refunding in full the purchase price - I mean honestly, what happens on back ordered items that go out of production during back order? Are you honestly going to throw a fit if the vendor gives your money back to you stating "Sorry, it is impossible to fulfill your order."?
Good luck with that. Explicitly: They never signed a contract they were taking your money as a loan. Just saying - you have no legal legs to stand on there. It is borderline unethical to charge a credit card before you are ready to ship a product, but if the refund is done reasonably quickly I won't be that upset. If they hold my money for 6 weeks I'll charge them the 25% a week I stated above, basically right now they've made a mistake and I understand that, 3-4 days from now they have stolen my money and I'll expect to be compensated.
He makes a good point. I don't think you would get anywhere imo. More power to ya if your gonna try but I'm just saying. The odds of it turning in your favor are slim. GL though 🙂Good luck with that. I liked that part extra 😛
Such boasting on the internet gets tiresome.
And, no you wouldn't charge them anything....you wouldn't get a dime out of them.

Checked email, they responded with another apology, stating the price was less than half their cost and that they are working to get refunds processed.
