6G?

I have 4 x 1G chips.
What do you think about putting in 2 x 2G and 2 x 1G for a total of 6G?

I run Linux and emulate Windows so I do need more ram.

If it were me, I'd match brand and specs (speed, voltage, timings) to avoid any compatibility problems.

Is there a graph somewhere that tracks ram prices?
I suspect ram is priced high now.
Some of the comments by customers say they bought the same ram back in April for 1/3 the current price.
I'd buy 8G at that price. 🙂
