MSI's 694T Pro Motherboard scores near 815 mainboard : review
So should I buy it? (it's also cheap and has ob sound)

Nucro...

I am a reseller of both of those MSI boards... they are both excellent boards. The only upside to the 815 board is that it has onboard video. If you don't need onboard video get the 694t. I have sold about 100 of the 694t boards and haven't had one come back yet!!

I have a 694T Pro for a second system using a Tualatin 1.2. The board is very stable but BIOS issues are preventing me from OC'ing beyond 133 FSB. It seems as though MSI is BIOS "challenged".

Mine has onboard audio.

The 815 will limit you to 512M memory.

<<Hey the VIA 694T chipset uses 686B southbridge! It's the crappy one - data corruption, Soundblaster problems, corruption of all sorts...>>

Not exactly. There was a specific revision of the 686B southbridge with the timing bug, but not all of the revisions suffer its problem.
