(luckily I received mine two days ago 😉 and I also applied for a price adjustment since they dropped the price $50 the day mine shipped

$553 shipped for me 2 days ago (damn TX tax!) but it's still in Production. Now the only question is do I want to triple monitor with my existing dual 18" 1801FP's??

I would not call it warm unless it was under $600

I picked one up for $550 but wish I had gotten another. Next time they drop price to $550 or lower I'll be picking up another one.

I think you were referring to me?

Here's my breakdown.

$799 - 199.75 (25% Dellf) - $150 (Amex GC) + tax = $485

Price dropped to $749.00 so I called and got a $50 credit adjustment.

$435 total.

I've heard of those "serious issues" in this forum and at Dell. Despite that, I ordered one recently. Some have mentioned these problems but many many others have conveyed their complete satisfaction of this particular monitor.

If I do have any problems, I will send it back and see what they can do to rectify it. If it is not to my satisfaction, I will get a refund. It would be frustrating but at least I have alternatives.

I'm betting that I will be satisfied with my purchase. Mi dos centavos.
