Anyways, I look forward to your results as I will be building a new machine to upgrade from my old P4 with a 6800nu AGP card soon.

Thanks,
Jason

There are no PCIE 6800NUs with the RAM clocked at 700MHz, only typos on newegg/other places. The MSI 6800NU has 600MHz core clocks.

Yes it does impact memory bandwidth by 3.2 GB/sec, I may well OC to try and make this up. Even so, these cards will have about 25% more memory bandwidth at stock speed than my 6600GTs due to the 256bit access, and double the RAM, so I'm expecting to not bump into the 16X12 AA/AF wall as hard.

Ok thank you for that clarification, I guess I just noticed the typos. It makes sense though, since these cards are priced so close to the 128mb AGP ones. I'm sure the RAM will easily hit 700mhz should you decide to keep the cards.

Awaiting your results!

Most interested to test the 6800NU SLI. FS benches make it out to be as fast an an Ultra, and I scored two for $480 shipped at newegg with their "Refurb Roulette" program.

Such is my mania.

damn!!!! My kid is running NFS 2 Underground with a Radeon 8500 AIW.......That is one heck of a system waiting in the wings.....gives him some room to grow no less....

Thanks Duvie- he's sporting a A64 3000+/K8T Neo/1GB Corsair/6800NU/19" Sony Trinitron. He doesn't really know the difference, he plays mostly learning games on the computer and "games" on his Xbox.
