6800GT dual display troubles

Hi all,
I've got a BFG 6800 GT card to use it with my two 19" Dell Monitors.
the thing is, the non DVI connector doesn't allow the second monitor to turn on and the displayed message on the non working monitor is : Monotir is in power save mode, activate using pc.
and the background distortion is really bad (in the non working monitor)
please help

thanks

One more thing that I did not post is that even if I removed the working monitor from the DVI and pluged it to the analog connector the monitor wont work and the same message appears.
Is my analog connector dead !?!?!?!?!?!

I did, still no luck, even if I only plug one of my Dell monitors to the analog connector the same message appears.
Could it be that the monitors hate the analog in my BFG 6800 GT !!!!!!
That would be the craziest thing ever.

Does that output also not activate when you connect a monitor only there, leaving all other connectors (DVI, TV) empty?

i remember |H| mentioning something about this.
its a bug with the converter and some monitors.
MOF even some DVI monitors will have this problem too.

its not just the GT, its all 6800s with DVI.
thankfully both my ports (dvi) work fine 🙂

I've got a BFG 6800 GT too...
Mine has a weird DVI problem, nothing gets displayed until entering Windows.
So I don't see my BIOS/POST screen or anything, until all in the sudden my monitor lights up as it enters Windows.
It seems DVI-D signals are not sent until it enters Windows mode.

DVI is working fine, the problem seems with the analog connector.
even when I remove all monitors and only plug one to the analog it makes this ticking sound like it is recieving a signal then that message appears.
What's even stranger is that a friend of mine got me that card and used it for 2 days before handing it to me, it worked fine, he uses a sony 19" montor.

are you useing a convertor or the completely analog cable?

On the DVI I use a converter with the Monitor and once more the DVI is working perfectly, the analog D-sub is not working !!!
