"6800GS" spotted at our favorite butterfly emporium

Isn't this faster than 6800GT? The spec says core speed 425MHz.. That's even faster than 6800U.

Edit: My bad.. I didn't know it's a 12-pipe card.
 
good deal...id still try pick up a 6800gt instead, but its obviously a much better buy than a 6800NU

i wonder if this card can then be unlocked to 16pipes.....by the looks of it, its pretty much a GT with 4 missing pipes.

actually it's probably a different core since it's got such high stock clocks. just like how all pci-e 6800nus are special 12pipe native cores with no unlocking possible.
