6800GS Antialiasing problem

Hi,

I have just bought a new system:
DFI Infinity Ultra (NF4 Ultra)
Athlon64 3200+ Venice, stepping E6
Leadtek PX6800GS TDH
....

I am having some strange problems with the 6800GS card, when runing any 3d application with AAx4 and resolution of 1280x1024 the video image gets scrambled you barely able to see something, even when returning back to desktop the image on screen is messed up (small vertical & horizontal lines), its seems like the OS (Windows) is working properly though, I can restart it using the keyboard..

I am using the latest drivers of all (motherboard and graphic card).

Should I return the card or its related to driver or other SW issue ?

i guess you could try other drivers,

but that sounds pretty bad, if it wer me id check the card over, see if the HSF is applied proper and then jsut RMA it, something is clearly wrong.

Just an update on the issue...
I have installed the previous NVIDIA display driver (v81.94) now the problem almost disappeared (happened only once at the AquaMark3 bench.)

Now, I am totally confused. Is it HW problem or SW one ?
Should I RMA the card ?

Probably just a software issue... The 6800GS is relatively new, it is normal it still poses some problems with drivers... The next set of drivers will probably just finish the problem...
