6800 Underperforming

I just put together a new system with my 6800 and the 6800 isn't running quite right. I've tried multiple gpu and chipset drivers with the same results everytime, in 3dMark05 the 6800 is underperforming. Here is what I get each time;

3dMark Score-1885
Single Texturing-1471.8
Multi Texturing-1904.0
Pixel Shader-52.5
Vertex Shader Simple-23.3
Vertex Shader Complex-16.6

Chaintech VNF3-250 5.10
Sempron 3100+@2.4GHZ
512MB Mushkin PC3200
PNY Geforce 6800 66.93
XP Pro

Make sure you have AA, AF, and Vsync turned off and you have the image setting set to High Performance when you run your benchmark tests. At stock speeds you should be getting around 3400-3700 i think. I get a score of 4349, but i have softmoded to open the last 4 pipes and 6th Vertex shader and i am Over Clocking my 6800NU a bit.

AA, AF, and Vsync were off, I changed image quality to High Performance and the scores were the same.

I thought it was the Semron at first as well, but I've tried it with the Sempron at default speeds and a couple different OC speeds and the score is always the same. Plus, the Sempron wouldn't effect the pixel and vertex shader scores would it?

What was your 3dM03 score? Your 3DM05 score doesn't sound far off to me. Only 512MB w/a Sempron & a stock 6800. Not exactly a high performance gaming machine (not dissing your rig, just saying)
You can always try DriverCleaner and go from scratch that way, but I doubt that'll do much. Write back

No, there is something wrong. Sempron 3100+ is plenty fast and he has it overclocked. Your should be at least double where you are at. I would start as the others suggested here and try cleaning the drivers off with driver cleaner and reinstall those. I would also reinstall your motherboard nForce drivers.

I transferred everything to a new case, the case just got here today and I couldn't wait to play over the weekend, and the scores now seem right. In the fillrate test I now get 2853 and 3787, I didn't change anything so really don't have a clue why it was performing so bad before. Oh well, thanks for all the suggestions.
