If I were to run it at 1024X768 using a P4 2.8ghz cpu, I would buy the 6800GT.
Running a 6800GT under 1024x768 is quite frabkly ludicrous. If you're going to run at such a low resolution may as well just get a vanilla 6800 and save some money.

Well, I would not, that guy suggested something like 800X600.
That resolution is as as silly as 1024x768 is. Again if you want to run at 1024x768 then pick up a 6800 or something from the prevous generation.

Anyway, CPU = Central Processing Unit, or simply processor (like Intel Pentium IV, AMD Athlon 64, etc.).
