Im getting what would look like heat ripples (distortion) that comes across my screen when Im moving around, its not the same as the heat that you see when you look at the exhaust of pipes in the game. These look hardware related. Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this. I wouldnt think with my system I would have any type of bad performance, so Im thinking its a settings problem. Also, the game seems a tad bit glitchy. I havent made it out of the beginning sequences yet because Im trying to test the issue without getting into real gameplay.
Thanks in advance.

Actually, it sounds like a similiar problem 9700Pro users had in the beginning. Let me guess, it's more apparent when you have a really dark background on the screen, correct? Try reducing your refresh rate to 60hz to see if it corrects the problem. If it does, raise it back up in increments until you see it again. Once you see it come back, you'll know your threshold.

I have an lcd display I can only go 60 for refresh rate, dvi setup, and I only see it when Im physically moving around in the game. They are long ripples like your looking through heat or water.

that is called screen tearing, it happens because the frames being put out from your videocard are not synchronized with your monitor's refresh; vsync fixes it.

Thanks everyone, I'll let you know if this fixes my issue. Other than that, I have never seen such wonderful graphics on a game before. Excellent.
