Just got off the phone with Chumbo.com. The 399.99 for the BFG 6800GTOC will no longer be able to be sold by itself.
According to Andrew at Chumbo.com, "BFG is forcing us to NOT sell the card by itself any longer, unless your order is already in. They now are ONLY offering a BUNDLE deal. 1 6800GTOC WITH a 550watt power supply."
So i asked the obvious, If i want 2 cards, i have to buy 2 bundles, for a total of 2 cards and 2 power supplies?
ANSWER: YES!!!???
WTF..
The new price will be $499.99 with a power supply i dont need...

Sounds like BFG have got a stock pile of 550W power supplies they need to offload, why not bundle it with the hottest product on the market.
Has anyone seen a review on the power supply? is it crap (hence the stock pile) or does it do OK.

Some times its also worth not only looking online for these cards. Since I live in Milwaukee I went to a store called Milwaukee PC and asked them if I could get these and he said no problem to my surprise so i ordered two. Whats even more amazing is that they came in within a week of the order. I paid 450 each. had them in my pc for a week now and love them

Forward thinking, I have done that in the past, got a list of parts that I want together and taken them to the local store ask if they can get them.
BTW. When Buying an pair of cards for SLI wouldn't it be cheaper to get one Retail box and one OEM box with two retail boxes you end up with two copies of the useless game they ship.
