Am I ok running my video card power cable to my video card and my hard drive. Or do i need a whole one by itself to run to my video card. The problem is is that my plugs that plug into my hard drive cd drives and stuff wont come out and I dont want to break them they are stuck in there. How can I see if my 6800 is running the way it should be.
 
If your computer doesn't crash under 3D apps you are probably doing fine, fire up Prime 95 and do the maximum heat and power test, then fire up 3dMark05. If you can make through, then good for you 🙂

Also, you won't break anything. This probably horrible, but if I were in your shoes I would firmly grasp the wires just behind the stuck molex power connector, and start to wiggle it back and forth, side to side and not up and down. Do this until the damn thing wiggles, and then give it a firm tug.
