6800 GT SLI enabled

A8N SLI-Delux latest stable bios
2x XFX 6800GT
Athlon64 3500+
1gig corsair memory
500 watt power supply

My problem:
I have SLI enabled in the drivers, but it doesn't seem like it's enabled.
I got 16.5 on timedemo 1 when others with the same setup were getting 75 fps with higher settings.
Counterstrike: source also has problems with the higher settings
and Far cry performs less then expected.

Troubleshooting:
I have the latest video drivers from the nvidia website, bios setting to auto for sli and the EZ card thing on the motherboard set for dual graphics cards. I also was experiencing problems getting anything to show on the display when sli was enabled, but I fixed it by resetting the bios settings. I also made sure both cards were in the slots correctly. I disabled/enabled sli as well.

What I will do:
Download 3dmark '05 and test

You kidding, right? They are one of the biggest PSU manufacturers, especially for OEM market.

Well I am not sure what problem you are having but here is what I did to get my SLI rig up and running. Installed both cards, installed XP, installed 66.93 drivers, XP notified me I have an SLI capable system, I checked the box to enable it, XP asked to restart, I did, upon restart it told me SLI was enabled.

Have you tried to run with one card removed? And are you absolutely positive that the ASUS EZ connector has it so that the Dual Video Card selection is in the slot?

Thats your problem right there. XFX is known for their poor quality cards. I just bought a XFX 6600 GT for my bro and it was DOA. I would seriously recommend testing each card individualy.

I will be installing a single 6800 GT from XFX on an A8N-SLI Deluxe next week. I won't be trying a SLI setup until the price of the card drops so I can afford a second one. I was wondering weather or not these cards are SLI ready. I am not sure that they are SLI-ready....however, I hope they are. Newegg does not list SLI as one of it's features. There is some doubt about their SLI'ability. I hope you can prove me wrong.

All 6800 series and the 6600GT can be used in SLI mode. You should easily spot the SLI connector and it's slots on the top of the card.

You may have to flash the BIOS on a few brands of cards to get the SLI mode working. Gigabyte 6600GT's being one example.

There are some 6800GTO cards out there that I have heard are not working in SLI mode.
