6800 GT Roundup?

Anybody have a link to a 6800 GT roundup? I found a few on the 6800 but no GT.

Also, if you change the cooling on the card, say to the NVSilencer is there a shim or anything thats a pain?

I saw the Galaxy 6800 GT already has the silencer but cant seem to find a retailer.

Right now I'm thinkin buy a plain PNY or whatevers cheapest and then mod the cooler.

Thanks!

I slapped on a NV5 Silencer without any troubles at all

Temps are 55 idle and never peak above 65 load

With the stock EVGA cooler my temps were in the high 60's at idle and high 70's at load.

NV Silencer is excellent!!

agree on the nvsilcencer
Took my core temps from 62C idel to 49C idel . . Helps out the ambient temp aswell.

Is the NVSilencer something you can pull off if you need warranty work? Or can the company tell that you had another cooler on there?

I know people get pissed when someone who overclocks a video card and burns it up RMA's it, and I agree, but when you add better cooling, and the card dies, I don't see that as a bad thing.

Yes you can pull it off easily. It comes off just like the stock cooler.
