OK i bought a Nvidia 6800 GT about 3-4 months ago, i upgraded from my Nvidia ti 4200. First off ill let you know that i play counter-strike and my frame rate on cs with my 4200 was mainly a constant 100 with random drops in the smoke. But when i upgraded to my 6800 gt of course i had to test it out in cs, and i noticed i could do alot with it without lagging frame wise at all. But recently in the last month i get major drops in my frame rate. Sometimes down to like 40-50 frames, keep in mind this is counter-strike not the source. I run a P4 2.6C HT, 1 Gig ram, 2 DVD Drives, and i have a 350 watt power supply. I have tried all the different drivers for the video card, nothing worked. Then i reinstalled windows, nothing. I am thinking it could be my power supply and isnt big enough. But im kind of confused on what it is. i have checked my temp and upper temp normally is like 65-70 so i dont think its over heating. Im kind of at a loss, anything anyone can think of will help me :D

Do you have AA\AF on? Also, make sure CS is set to run in OpenGL and turn off Fastwrites in the BIOS.

I don't have AA or AF on, I made sure to turn them off. I'll try the fastwrite though thanks for your help.
