Wrapping presents has never been that difficult, but I think I've gone through a whole damn roll on one small freaking 5x5x5 box!!

I know just how you feel... It get SOOOOOO FREAKIN FRUSTRATING. I tried wrapping all my presents last year. Now I just either get it wrapped at the store or get my gf to do it.

The only fancy bag I have, is the one the present came in, and has the store name right on it. I can't use that bag.

ugggghhhh... I will learn do do this even if I go broke on wrapping paper!

<< you need you a good woman for that. >>

The presents being wrapped are for the 3 girls in my life; gf, sister and mom. I can't exactly show 'em what they are getting :)

I either have a female friend or my mom do it. One year I brought a ton of presents over to a female friend's house and had her wrap the whole lot. But, when all else fails, Adul nailed it. Get a fancy gift bag, put said present in the bag, cover with foofy stuff, and voila!! Instant wrapped present!

I swear women are just born with genetics that allow them to wrap stuff. My mom just wrapped 3 things in about 3 minutes and they all turned out perfect with no wasted paper :Q

gift bags are so gaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!

if i am going to use some sort of bag i usually use an old mcdonald's bag. it's fun because they look at the bag and think 'what the hell is this' then when they open it up and find a gift certificate to mcdonald's they are all happy. lol, just kidding. rotfl.

gift bags are gaey, though.

Ok...I got the easiest solution. Just put it in a bag that no one can see through. When you give it to them...have them close their eyes...put it in their hands. Same effect you are trying to get...with only minimal effort.

My mom made all her kids learn how to wrap presents. And with four brothers and sister, you learn fast!

Hell, when I was a kid, we even made our own bows.

Anyone here ever see one of those bow makers that were popular in the 50-70s?

If you're feeling lazy, most stores will wrap your presents for a buck or two. Some even do it for free. And every mall has a charity booth set up to wrap presents.

You'd think that with all the people here who can build their own computers, drive a stick, and put a car into a four wheel drift that getting instructions on doing something as mundane as wrapping a package would be a pice of cake!

Get kroger bags, put the present inside, crumple as small as possible, wrap with duct tape until nothing else is visible, and top off with a bow.

DUCT tape, man's best friend.

Duck Tape is a particular brand of duct tape. Quite the finest, might I add!
