Is it not the bus driver's responsibility to try and de-escalate the situation? I'm pretty sure the driver has the rights to kick both of them off the bus. I'm not saying pull the bus over immediately in traffic, but there was enough time for the driver to find a stop and handle the situation instead of just driving on, I'm just saying...

It's not that straightforward when you're the driver. I drove school busses for a little over a year and that was bad enough; I don't even want to think about being a city bus driver.

Uhh, no, it's not. The drive can order them off the bus but that's it. No bus driver working for $15/hour is going to in the middle of a fight, are you serious?

Not that I think the bus driver should get involved, but some OC transpo drivers make over 100k a year. OC transpo = ottawa
