67.02 Nvidia beta drivers

Download Here along with any other driver you can think of.

Anyone have HL2 scores. The results they are getting at Guru3d are virtually the same on all other games with maybe a 1% difference.

Anyone want to try em with HL2?

I highly doubt that as they have to at least stay the same, they are optimized for HL2, so they CANT get worse. Anyone have any real benches.

Still you had to have done something wrong if you lost 10FPS. I dont have HL2 yet otherwise i would be doing this myself.

THis is wierd i am getting totaly different results, after uninstalling, driver cleaning, then putting back the old ones. the 66.93.

First time i got 81.64 fsp on the source test
Second time i get 97.50 on the ttest.

This is weried. I awlasy driver clean after i remove a set of drivers. Let me test these new drivers out.

After driver cleaning and installing the 67.02, i ran source test a couple times and these are my results.

With 66.93 - 97.5 fps

with 67.02

first run - 96.30 fps
second run - 98.49 fps
third run - 95.75 fps
fourth run - 97.50 fps

So i dont know why my fps vary so much during the srouce stress test, but i think these drivers are slightly better, comparable to 1 to 5 fps at most over 66.93. Thats my conclusion if you guys could run these drivers as well and put your results up sto make sure mine are correct or appear to be.

Over at NVNews, they are saying to make your LOD Negative Bias, to "clamp" and you're FPS will go up....and the shimmering is gone to

I cant tell any difference in HL2.

They did however fix the Flatout issue, which was a real problem. The game+any NV drivers I tried, would reboot your PC within the first 5 seconds of playing the game. VERRRRY annoying.

Would the beta drivers fix the stuttering I'm getting with my 6800NU in HL2? I found a fix using "cl_smooth 0", which helped, but it still acts as if it swapping files from time to time. However the hard drive light does not go on, and I have 1024 of PC3200. Or if it doesn't help the issue, is there any point at all in installing the new drivers?
