660ti won't fold under winxp64 ?

I just got 2 new 660ti cards. First I installed everything. Then Firefox would not even run(loads, but just a black screen). So I uninstalled everything, then re-installed just the drivers. Now Firefox is fine, but when I start the GPU client (after cleaning work dir, queue, etc) it just hangs after calling fah_main in the log file.

WTF ?? Help please.
 
Please post the first 20 or so lines in the log so I can analyse them. Also the kelper series F@H is still in progress of programming them so that might be why. So you might want the beta version until they can release it officially. I recommend trying BOINC seeing if it does work there.
 
This was working fine with a single GTS250 card, then I removed it and put in a pair of 660ti cards. Below is here it stops:

I am using 304.87j drivers according to gpu-z. I also tried with the forcegpu flag, no go.
 
I downloaded a new client from stanford, and now here is what I get, but it still hangs.

I saw tht, and did not understand the version numbers, but I downloaded v7, and now they are folding. 26k ppd each. But I can't figure out how to add to my HFM.net. I found a log file under the data folder for each card, but when I select that, it apparently doesn't know how to read the log file.

Unfortunately, HFM.net doesn't work with v7 client. Bummer.

26k ppd for 660ti. How does that compare with gtx570?

I only have 2 560ti's and they get at most 20k. Right now one of those is getting 15, and the other less than 8, I don't understand why, they are all dedicated folding boxes, nothing else running.
 
Thats the problem. Nvidia deliberately downgraded their compute power for projects like F@H and PrimeGrid Generalized Fermat.
 
Well, they get 26k for BOTH, crap. my 560ti's used to do 20k each. These were supposed to be almost 50% more points in F@H per the benchmarks I saw.

So 13K ppd for the 660Ti. Jeez, I was thinking of buying one for the race. Maybe I'll test my 570GTX and then decide on buying another one or a 660Ti.

The latest version of HFM.net does work for v7 and v6 clients. For adding a v7 client, the dialog box asks for an address (host name or IP address) and a password, if applicable. It automatically detected both the gpu and cpu slots. cool.

Well, my IP is 192.168.1.2, but when I click "test connection" I get nothing.

I have no password set to boot. But port 36330 ???

Well, I tried 127.0.0.1, and now it sees them both. and Yes 26k ppd is what they get total. At the moment the 560ti's are getting 7k and 10k, so maybe its the units ???
