what temp is bad for a 6600gt card ? up to how high it is safe ?

my normal temp is 48-49 C and loaded at 69-78 C

card has a fan on it.

for load temps, i would say anything over 75C is crossing the safe threshold. If u can, try to improve ur case airflow, or if u can spend around 30 bucks, u can get the zalman vf700 or any other reputable aftermarket gpu cooler (buy some artic silver 5, good stuff) and ur temperatures will be better than what u get with the stock cooler. all aftermarket coolers take up an extra slot tho, so if ur buying one, make sure u hv the space. Personally, my idle and load temps before were 52C and high 70's and after i got the zalman cooler, they were 44C and mid 50's.

meh, my 6600GT breaks 80'C under full load, stock cooler...in a case with good airflow. I don't really care tho...thats what the warranty is for...

Consider this... my 6600GT, haven't played much games all day, right now runs at 60C.
