6600GT problem

I just installed an XFX 6600GT replacing my FX 5200. I did a complete driver wipe and reinstall and the new card seemed to be up and running fine. I loaded up Star Wars Galaxies and there was no problem. Then I loaded up EQII and I lost the display signal when the game was about to launch, and the same happened when I tried to run 3dMark05. Not sure what is causing this...SWG is still running fine.
