You could always get BGF 6800OC for $250 from Outpost.com

Then try to unlock the extra pipelines using RivaTuner.

6600Gt simply doesnt give you this option. 6800 should be slightly faster overall and it is available now not later. As long as you don't crank up the resolution and AA/AF through the roof, you should be fine. Time value of money and product usage => is $50 really worth 1 or 2 months waiting period?
