6600 pci-e 256mb or 6600GT pci-e 128mb

Hello everyone,

I'm getting a pci-e card for my brother, for his soon to be built system. (3500+)

Which card is better for games ? The 6600 (300/400) has 256mb memory & the 6600GT (500/400) has only 128mb of ram. Also the 6600 is $154 and the 6600GT is $179
