3dmark is 1024x768 by defualt and no one post AA/AF on. So I guess those scores are great, but cast you in the best possible light (no AA/AF, low res)

3dm03 that's about it..

I'm at 4ghz now with an even higher overclock, but i don't have time to dll and run 3dm03 again.

What is the point of your thread? You've repeated your 3dm three times now, if your trying to get recognition for your wonderous benchmark score here's your :cookie:

Sorry, your right, there are communities where performance competition is more popular. Xtremesystems.org is one... I noticed anandtech members mainly post and reply to find out more about a product or troubleshoot their problems.

I'm curious, why did you buy the 6600GT? Your other hardware components are pretty high end, you could've easily squeezed the wallet for a 6800 PCI-E.

For your 3dm score, it is very high for 6600GT, but did you just burst overclock the card for a benchmark or do you game at the setting that you benchmarked at? For me, I run everything with high quality and overclock as high as possible with perfect stability. To me, it is ridiculous to risk your hardware for some inflated number unless you have top-notch hardware.

Well, I just couldnt afford more than $200 for gfx. Well I could, but my dad was like, whoa you cant spend that much on your gfx card. So the 6600 GT was my only choice.

no way dude. The record for a 6600 GT is 11,000, You cant get to 13000 without a 6800 GT or SLI
