Slender with dark brown hair, she told the clinic she was 55 ? the facility's maximum age for single women undergoing the procedure.

There is a limit, she just lied to them and apparently... no checking is done...

I think we need ethics guidelines on how half-assed you can run a company or organization.

No one is going to tell me how many children I can or can't have. This isn't China.
My life is encroached on enough by the government!

Hm.. she spent her entire life caring for her mother, and when her mother died, she wanted a life of her own, part of which involved her becoming a mother herself. Don't you guys think you are being a bit harsh? Sure it wasn't the wisest thing to do and I feel it for the kids, but still.

Sympathy is something we rarely see here. But I think your right, we cannot blame the woman to much, she might have had a serious emotional need. I really blame the docs for allowing her to do something so foolhardy.

i have sympathy for the kids. they didnt choose the situation they are in. only good part is they are to young to remember the old bitch adn thats good. they will devolop a bond with whoever gets them (didnt see it in the story but may have missed it).

so she took care of her mother and for some odd reason couldnt get out and find a husband and have kids. SO FUCKING WHAT? it does not change the fact at 66 having kids was a greedy and fuckign selfish thing to do. She had no thought about if she would be around to take care of them.

Man ....... your hate for this woman is unbelievable. Obviously you have been traumatized by something closely related to those circumstances. Get help.

do i hate her? sure do.

I have no respect for anyone that does something like she did. i put her in the catagory of women who do drugs/drinks while pregnant. She is selfish and had not thought as to what she was putting the kids through.

Only good part is she died fast. personally i wish dhe died 4 years ago. At least the kids are young enough that they won't remember or be traumatized.

EVEN if she lived until the kids were 18 what kind of life would they have? most of it would be spent takeing care of her.

waggy doesn't hate this woman. He hates everything about himself this woman reminds him he is, the fact that he too is greedy and fuckign selfish. And this hate he has for himself is exactly the inner hell he hopes God sends her to. This is why the contempt of others is a form of suicide. Everything we hate in the world is ourselves and if we can't feel for everything else with forgiveness and sympathy, we will never ever be able to forgive ourselves and unless we do we condemn ourselves to our own self made schizophrenic hell.

I don't know that self-hate should always be eschewed because it can be motivational.

It's avoidance, the need not to know we feel like the worst in the world, is the most powerful motivating force on earth and the reason for almost every malady that man suffers from. What a pity too, because the belief is a total lie.
