66.81 driver performance

I know some of you are having quality problems with the 66.81 nvidia drivers

I updated them finally and performance is up in everything, no problems yet...

i dunno i think ironmanstl may of had 8xaf on in that 3940 run, i scored similar in the same scenario and once i turned it off i got more near 4500 ish then i updated to 66.81 and got 4900 ish so i dont think the 66.81's increase score quite that much

but nvidia seem to be on the ball with these drivers.......nvidia cards jus get better as time goes on
 
oh n by the way with 66.81 doom3 seems really really fluid now, ive never really seen the fps counter drop from 60, used to dip in places but not anymore
 
Sadly, I didn't see any sort of performance increase, but I was running dev drivers when I went to give the 66.81's a try. I imagine whatever's present in the 66.81's are also present in my drivers as well. I actually saw a small score drop with the 66.81's 🙁
 
I don't know about 66.81 but I saw a very good boost with 66.70 beta.
For example Far Cry Fort demo(benchemall) went from 60fps->67fps and DoomIII timedemo from 86 to 91fps. Also I mentioned as everybody else a good boost in 3Dmark2k5. I haven't benched with other games yet,but rans them fine except Myst IV demo.
 
Ouch! That's a crazy 05 score. I'm only scoring 4400+ with the new 66.81 drivers and my system's almost the same as yours, at least the important parts.
 
I'm in the mid 5500's, but haven't really set out to tweaking. I get mid 6300's, with the x800 XT PE.

You would think I had af etc on, but I didnt, ran it many times and got the same score, once it hit 4400, which is where it should have been to begin with



 
With 61.77, I recieved the score of 4,292 in 3DMark05. With 66.81, I recieved a score of 5,098 in 3DMark05. My FPS in the Doom 3 timedemo went up from 69 to 73 @ 1280x1024 with no AA, no V-Sync, and everything else maxed out.
