At idle, I'm at 22c and the cores are 35, 35, 31, 41. At 100% load for for 1 min, processor went to 28c, cores are 41, 35, 39, 41.

That is one sick 65W part. Even w/o overclocking it's plenty of firepower for just about anything.

i have one ES Q9550S and it can only get 472 FSB - 4 Ghz
- without going over 1.4v
- they are not better OC'ers than the non-S version we have been seeing

They are absolutely perfect for rackmount servers where a lower wattage and cooler running CPU is worth the price premium
HOWEVER, with intel now picking the best CPUs from the center of the die for "S" Quads, the others will probably not OC very well anymore

My e8600 will top out at 3.33Ghz but i play it safe at 3.25Ghz
