Transcend 64mb Smartmedia w/lifetime warranty.

Cheap enough They also offer Dane-Elec 64mb smartcards for $1 more. I opted for the cheaper, I don't think there's much difference. I hope it works OK in my Finepix 1400.

Wow, that is EXTREMELY hot deal. $59 for 64MB SmartMedia? Wow! And they also have 128MB version!!!!!!!!!!!

Could u post link ? 4 Dan-Elec Tks in advance. BTW just got that RIO 500 some say with new firmware it will take the 64 meg. any comments here about that ?

I bought the Dane-Elec one from Newegg for $59 a couple days ago. It works perfectly and it has a lifetime warranty. Newegg.com shipped immediately... overall, a great experience.

I bought the 64Mb Dane-Elec Smart Media to upgrade my Nomad II from the E-music deal. Worked like a charm.

Kudos to NewEgg on several great deals. I finally broke down and ordered the ATI Radeon LE 32Mb DDR with TV-out for $89 yesterday.

Excellent price.Just ordered a 32mb smartmedia for my Fuji MX 1200.Thanks for posting this.$6.00 for shipping is a little excessive for something that's not much larger than a postage stamp though.

There was another thread about this I think but.
But the 64MB of viking memory is $58 (+$5 shipping), and viking has a $20 rebate (See the www.vikingcomponents.com site for form). This makes it around $43 after the rebate for 64mb. I don't know how good this is compared to the other stuff, but I've heard of viking.

One weird thing about newegg is I was on there this morning and it showed this memory for $59, then 5 minutes later it was $58.

Yeah, I paid $65 and then a few days later they had them for $59. Oh well.

Works fine in my FinePix 1400 btw.

The chip is small but shipping is based on the total packaging, I ordered one and it came in a shoe size box. Thats good since something that delicate can be damaged easily.

counterpoint* think I got 2 of CF 64 cards from newegg 2-weeks ago. I of which the retail plastic card was cut-open and re-taped of course no way of knowing if the CF itself was used- the pill cases aren't sealed. Their reply slightly trucculent, "we'll try and do better next time".
Doesn't mean I won't try again wrt smartmedia, but.

anyone know if fuji finepix 4700 takes 128mb smartmedia? It says its compatible up to 64mb but have any of you tried this?

I believe some people from dprevew.com were successful in feeding 128mb cards to Fuji 4700. Just do a search on forums there.
