Viking rebate goes to New Rochelle and costs $6.99 in shipping plus a $3.95 "handling and processing fee". Good deal, but the "handling and processing fee" feels like a ripoff to me.

Yeah.. Free shipping, but there is a handling and processing fee. It was $3.95 on top of the shipping when I bought just the smart media cards, but now that I have it over $50 with another item, it's a $5.95 processing fee.

Not sure if this is a hot deal or not but Microcenter has 32mb Smart Media cards for $9.99 without any rebates or such. Seems to be a decent deal. I picked up a few. Also since you go there yourself their is no shipping/handling fee.

The 64 MB from ecost are $10 before the rebate. So 32 MB for $10 = not much of a deal, really.

I just checked and did not have any problems adding the cards to my cart. All you do is click the "Click and Find" button on the product page and then you go through the list and find the products. The viking was the second one on the list for me.

I bought one of each card not long ago inorder to get free shipping so my total was $27.99 + 3.95(Processing free) = $31.94 - 10 - 10 = $11.92. IMHO opinion $11.92 is not a bad deal for two 64mb smart media cards.
