Why is that better? Buy.com participates in various cashback deals.

comes with the xfer sw (supposed to do the win 7 alignment correctly on xfer) and the enclosure for the old drive...

should have said 'better deal if u want the other stuff'...

arent these the drives that cause microstutter if you install a game on it? tempted but dont want that nonsense

I've had WoW installed on both the 64GB and the 96GB Kingston SSDs and haven't experienced this problem (first time I've heard about it, actually).

If using the 64 or 96GB drive, is it necessary to switch to AHCI mode? Is IDE mode ok? The reason I ask is because my Gigabyte motherboard actually takes longer to boot under AHCI mode. Also, since the 96GB has its own aggressive technology for removing garbage, is it necessary to disable TRIM?

Set your BIOS for AHCI mode, and don't disable TRIM.

So I was pumped, my 2 96gb drives arrive today, or so I thought! Instead I get a (paper back no less) book titled "Juice Fasting & Detoxification" WTF.

Amazon is over night'ing the right order.. supposedly lets hope I get them this time.

Maybe they're trying to tell you something😉

I pulled the trigger yesterday as it was the last day for the rebate. I hope I get drive and not a book😉

IDE mode, lol. Yes, use AHCI. Also no need to disable TRIM.
