i am looking to buy a new computer system but i am undecided between a 64 bit system and a 32 bit system. Is it worth it to get a 64 bit system now or should i wait. Or should i jus get the 32 bit system?
eh, if u can find a good enough price, go 64, doesn't hurt. but right now there's so little designed for 64, that it doesn't matter. but hey, how long u gonna keep it for?
There are plenty applications that won't run on it so first make sure you can run/install all that you will need. I am no comp expert so take this advise cautiously.
If it comes with Vanilla XP, you won't notice any difference between 32 adn 64 bit. Don't let that be any sort of deciding factor unless it comes with Win XP Pro x64.
both close to a 150 bucks with a good after market cooler, total price.
get an Opteron over the Athlon if you want to multitask though, but the Pentium D shouldn't have a problemz with multitasking at all
64-bit computing that cheap has never made it clear to me why some enthusiasts today would still settle for a 32-bit processor if they had the money for one.
