I know AMD 64 are 64 bits processor, but do Intel make 64bit processor too?

Is the prescott P4 processor 64bit ready?

They will be, but they are not available yet. I'm not sure if Intel has indicated whether they'll be releasing a Desktop 64bit processor, so far it's just a Xeon.

One day all processors will be 64-bit. Then they'll be 128-bit. But for now Intel only makes 32-bit processors.

I'd wager.. volume release Q2 next year.. meanwhile they'll just release a "look-we-have-64-bit-too-so-don't-buy-amd-but-you-can't-afford-it-anyway" cpu.

Nice to know that at least somebody sees right through intel's marketing.
