hmm... if you're able to run flash, that means your browser is also 32-bit, unless there's a 64-bit flash plug-in somewhere

Not quite. The only way Flash is possible is with an external player (gflashplayer, I believe).

Unfortunately, gflashplayer was dropped in the most recent Linux Flash release from Macromedia.
